The international neurosurgical forum concludes In Novosibirsk, Siberia

As acknowledged by the President of the International Siberian Neurosurgical Forum, an academician of RAMS (Russian Academy of Medical Sciences) and RAS (Russian Academy of Sciences), Alexander Konovalov, the last Congress was extremely successful: 

“I do not remember another congress with as many participants, including a large number of foreign experts. This is a fantastic result!“

According to Mr. Konovalov, such a representative forum is due to a number of reasons. 

“First, I want to emphasize the absolutely perfect organization of the event, it was perfect in every way,“ said the academician. 

The second key element that drew the attention of Alexander Konovalov , was the subject of the forum and the informative reports. Thus, at the International Siberian Neurosurgical Forum, three crucial events for the international medical community were held: the VI Congress of Neurosurgeons of Russia, the International Conference on Recent Advances in Neurotraumatology and the III Russo-Japanese Neurosurgical Symposium "Recent Advances in Neuro-oncology." Combining the three conferences at the Forum seriously increased its level. At the same time, according to experts, the reports reflect significant advances in the development of neurosurgery. 

“I am especially glad that a lot of young people were among the participants: people who are really interested in the development of our specialty,” said academician Konovalov, “I understand how difficult it will be for the citizens of Kazan, who will hold the next Congress. They will have to match the high level which was shown at the Neurosurgical Forum in Novosibirsk.”

At the closing ceremony of the Forum, the Novosibirsk Expo Centre team, following an established tradition, presented a commemorative gift to the organizers of the event. 

“Our gift to the organizers of the International Siberian Neurosurgical Forum is special,” says the head of Sales and Coordination of the complex, Anastasia Naumova. “It is filled with special meaning. At its center is a tree as a symbol of life on our planet. The glass ball around the symbol represents the work of neurosurgeons, who protect this life. The ball shows the continents, which symbolize the scale of the Neurosurgical forum. And as shown here, Novosibirsk Expo Centre is the place that brought together these leading experts from around the world.”
