The snowy areas are now attracting the attention of mankind and the scientific community. We have much to do to efficiently utilize our natural resources, create comfortable living conditions for the population and develop the economy. The Forum provides a unique opportunity to create an international platform to discuss these issues and share experiences with other regions and countries of the Northern Hemisphere. I wish all the participants of the Forum productive work. I am sure that the decisions at which we arrive will be of great value.
The forum includes a very wide range of topics, from environmental and economic development issues to culture and sports. The Forum’s program includes three main areas: the International Congress "Ecology of the Northern Regions", the international exhibition "Snow and urban economics" where leading companies introduce their equipment and developments on city management in winter, and the international exhibition " Winter Sports Industry and Recreation" which presents products, services and technologies for winter sports and recreation. The districts of the Novosibirsk Region introduce their own expositions.
