The Siberian International Energy Forum "Elcom Russia" has started in Novosibirsk

During today's conference, industry experts discussed various issues in the field of energy and electrical engineering. The topic of one of the round tables was the region’s power generation program until the year 2020. Other of the subjects was the practice of energy service contracts in Siberia and in Germany, the energy audit and the support for energy efficiency programs in the country.

While the Forum is being held at the International Exhibition Center "Novosibirsk Expocentre”, an exhibition is taking place where visitors will be introduced to the stands of Russian and foreign manufacturers of equipment for the power industry.

According to the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, Mr. Vasily Yurchenko, the exhibition is very important for the economy of the region:

“Today, energy efficiency is one of the main competitive advantages,” said Mr. Yurchenko, “A visit to the exhibition provides an opportunity to get acquainted with modern technical solutions that will enhance the competitiveness of the region as a whole.”

During the opening ceremony, the head of the region reported that the Government of the Novosibirsk Region will support the exhibition "Elcom Russia" because such activities should be carried out annually.

First Deputy Mayor of Novosibirsk, Andrew Ksenzov, agreed with the opinion of Mr. Yurchenko, an exhibition on such an important topic is important, especially now, when the city and its residents face a number of challenges to improve energy efficiency:

“The installation of energy meters, the reconstruction of transmission lines, power supply systems, and many other types of work are the things we have to complete in the near future together with the people of Novosibirsk. Today's platform will allow many energy experts and Housing specialists to get new knowledge brought by our foreign partners and colleagues,” said Mr. Ksenzov.

A central place of interest in the exhibition "Elcom Russia" is the German Pavilion, in which expositions of some German companies will take place.
