The exhibition «Mechanical engineering, Metalworking, Welding, Metallurgy” goes on in Novosibirsk Expo Centre

This year the exhibition «Mechanical engineering. Metalworking. Welding. Metallurgy” has become 50% bigger thanks to the technical capabilities and engineering communications of the new Novosibirsk Expo Centre . The new facilities allow for full scale equipment demonstrations.

The manufacturers "NZHK Tools" (Novosibirsk) introduced tools and services for metalworking. "We use traditional and advanced technologies for processing metals, including water-Jet and laser cutting, spark cutting and milling cutters, said Vitaliy Konev , engineer of the PTD.

At the stand of the company there were samples of water-jet cutting machines. With a water pressure of around 4000 atmospheres, a mixture of sand and water is used to cut metal. "In the city there are several of these machines, but we were the first to start using it this way" claimed the company's representatives. “We participate assiduously in the exhibition, we expect to get new customers and we want to conquer the Novosibirsk and the Siberian metalwork market s”.

One of the oldest machine manufacturers in Siberia and Russia , OAO "Zavod Trud" —is an assiduous participant of the «Mechanical engineering "exhibition. "In general, our company produces mining and mineral processing equipment, but at this exhibition we are introducing services for the reconstruction, major overhaul and modernization of metal-cutting equipment, including heavy equipment " the company's stand proclaims.

Tomsk Instruments Factory, a member of the “Tomsk Instruments" Group, is also one of the oldest metalworking industries in Siberia. This year it is celebrating its 70th anniversary. The company is introducing cutting tools, drills, taps, carbide-tipped tools, collecting tools and ring cutters with cylindrical shanks. "We are the only company in Russia which is releasing drill bit rolling screw methods and polishes”, — says Alexander Salminov, Chief of the Technological Bureau.

For several years the company did not take part in the exhibition due to the relocation of its facilities from the city centre of Tomsk to the suburbs. "This year we are participating to show everyone that we are alive, we moved to a new location and have become fully operational once again" said company representatives.

The company “Efficient Production Solutions Center " (EPRC) is demonstrating advanced house equipment from their German partners, such as: balancing equipment, power-shrink film packaging, mandrel, 3(D)- Haimer indicators, working area measuring systems”M&H”, snap for Lange equipment , State monitoring system, and conflict preventer “Montronix”.

Also, at the (EPRC) stand there were samples of Fischer company products. "This is a joint Russian-Swiss production, for the repair and maintenance of high-speed spindle for machining equipment,-says Ivan Kolmykov , head of the Sales Department. The company, is located in Novosibirsk, and it is quite young, having been formed two years ago. Our services are popular because we don’t have competition in the Russian market. This is the first company in Russia with European style production for the repair and maintenance of spindles. Before, spindles used to be sent to Europe for maintenance, which was very expensive. Now, the costs have been reduced accordingly. "

The company “Alflet” introduces turning, milling, grinding and metering equipment from 25 European partners.

"Our equipment could be used by companies like " Sibselmash” , NZHK and NAPO “Chkalov”, “These are companies in the defense and aviation industry " says Mikhail Budagashvili, commercial director of Aflet. “ Of course, we are interested not only in the local market but also in Barnaul, Krasnoyarsk, Komsomolsk, Khabarovsk, Omsk and Tomsk. The exhibition “Mechanical Engineering, Metalworking, Welding, Metallurgy” ended on March 30th with the giving of the traditional "Gold Medal - ITESiberian Fair " awards.
