Three Memorable Exhibitions at One Place
The Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex is hosting three exhibitions at the same time: the International Exhibition “Traveling and Tourism” – SITT, the exhibition of hunting and fishing products and services “Hunting and Fishing. Siberia”, and the exhibition of sports products, inventory, and gear “SportSib. Boats and Yachts”.
Deputy Minister of Economic Development for the Novosibirsk Region Sergey V. Pugachev, who attended the official opening ceremony of the 25th International Exhibition “Traveling and Tourism” – SITT, emphasized the importance of this event and noted that “today the government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Novosibirsk Region pay much attention to both the incoming and the domestic tourism”.
No doubt, the All-Russian Festival of Combat Sports held as part of the exhibition “SportSib. Boats and Yachts” is the most memorable event of the exhibition days. The 3,000 participants of the festival will demonstrate their masterful skills in aikido, hand-to-hand fighting, jiu-jitsu, karate, wushu, kobudo, sambo, Vovinam Viet Vo Dao, taekwondo, grappling, and cross-fit in front of a few thousand spectators. Apart from that, anyone will have an opportunity to check their physical abilities and pass the GTO (Ready for Labor and Defense) testing.
The days of the exhibitions “Hunting and Fishing. Siberia” and “SportSib. Boats and Yachts” will also offer an extensive business program:
- workshops, consultations, question-and-answer session held by the sportsman from Top Division of the Russian Spinning Rod League, author of theme documentaries about predatory fishing with a spinning rod Artyom Mishin, as well as workshops, consultations, and a question-and-answer session from Russia’s sports fishing champion Valery Fominykh;
- testing of PVC inflatable boats using Russian-made motors;
- roundtable discussions “Internet Promotion of a Sports Store”, “Sales Boosting Technologies. Stimulation and Casting of Sales Personnel”, “Partisan Marketing. Minimization of Advertising Costs and Promotion of a Sports Store and Brand”;
- presentation of the first national edible silicone bait “Russkaya Fishka”, testing of PVC inflatable boats using a Russian-made motors.

On April 17 the following events will take place as part of “SITT” Exhibition:
- presentation of hotels in the Republic of Bulgaria;
- roundtable discussion devoted to relevant issues of receiving hotel guests – new provisions in the Law and increasing profits through restaurant services of hotels;
- the 7th international scientific and practical conference “Developing and Promoting Tourist and Natural History Resources of the Region”.
The Government of the Russian Federation will conduct a regional stage of the All-Russian Competition of Professional Skills among the specialists of tourism industry “The Best Professional in Tourism Industry”.
