The Road and Transport Complex Development Will Be Discussed at the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex
On May 28-31 the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex will be hosting the 3rd International Forum ‘Transport of Siberia’ and the exhibition devoted to transport industry, transport, storage logistics, and infrastructure TransSiberia 2014.
The main topic of the Forum is ‘Increasing the Investment Attractiveness for Innovative Development of the Regional Road and Transport Complex’.
According to the organizers’ information, the activities of the Forum will be attended by representatives of the Russian Federation Government, the Russian Federation Ministry of Transport, federal and regional legislative and executive authorities, directors of relevant federal agencies and organizations, industry-related unions and associations, transport companies, representatives of the road construction complex.
The program of the Forum consists of 10 different sections.
First day of the Forum includes plenary session called ‘Increasing the Investment Attractiveness for Innovative Development of Regional Road and Transport Complex’ and the 12th session of the Russian Motor Transport Union Members. The conference ‘Problems and Development Prospects of the Transport and Logistics Infrastructure in Regions of Russia’ organized by the Siberian Union of Transport Specialists, Forwarding Agents, and Logistic Experts will also take place on May 28. The conference will be devoted to a wide range of issues related to implementing transport strategy of Russia in Regions of Siberia and the Far East.
On the second day, May 29, the participants of the Forum will attend roundtable discussions and conferences in order to discuss key aspects that concern the functioning of all transport types and the road complex.
The third day is defined as ‘The Day of Traffic Safety’ - it includes the 6th Traffic Safety Forum and summing up the results of the event. The Forum has been organized by the Novosibirsk Region Ministry of Transport and Road System in cooperation with the City Hall of Novosibirsk and ‘ITE Siberia’ Company supported by the Russian Ministry of Transport.
Specialty exhibition of transport industry, transport, storage logistics, and infrastructure TransSiberia 2014 will be held in parallel with the Forum.
The exhibition will be featuring 61 companies from 4 countries. The exposition of TransSiberia 2014 Exhibition will include three main sections: ‘Transport and Storage Logistics’, ‘Road Construction and Tools of Road Safety’, ‘Cargo and Passenger Transport, Special Vehicles’.
On May 29 the outdoor area will be hosting the 2nd annual festival of forklift operator skills ‘Live Steel’. The event is organized by the companies ‘Forklift’ and ‘ITE Siberia’.
