The Opening Ceremony of the Exhibitions “UchSib” and “HobbyTime” Took Place at the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex
The 23rd Exhibition of Education. Career in Russia and Abroad “UchSib” and the 3rd Exhibition of Hobbies, Pastimes, and Creative Activities “HobbyTime” were opened at the Exhibition Complex on March 12.
The opening ceremony featured the Minister of Education, Science and Innovative Policy for the Novosibirsk Region - Sergey Aleksandrovich Nelyubov, Deputy Minister, Head of the Directorate for the Regulation of Consumer Market and Services Sector - Larisa Vladimirovna Yarkova, and Head of the Main Directorate of Education at the City Hall of Novosibirsk – Natalya Nikolayevna Kopayeva.
Mr. Nelyubov noted that “within the years of its existence, “UchSib” Exhibition has not only gained authority in the Siberian Federal District but it also became well known far beyond our region. This exhibition is, first of all, a platform that lets professionals discuss relevant issues of education, which are in numbers nowadays. I wish that these days of the exhibitions be filled with positive feelings and that all the participants obtain a lot of new meaningful information from the available stands and expositions, as well as efficient discussions”.
It is worth noting that “UchSib” exhibition brought together 197 education institutions and companies from Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk Region, Moscow and the Moscow Region, Omsk, Tomsk and the Tomsk Region, the Kemerovo Region, as well as China, the Czech Republic, North Cyprus, and Turkey.
The program of the exhibition includes numerous workshops – “Dough Art at Kindergarten ‘Zhavoronki’”, “Methods of Fairytale Therapy That Can Be Used By a School Teacher ”, “Drawing with Soap Bubbles”, “Making Folk Musical Instruments from Expendable Materials”, “School Clothing Accessories” etc.
The exhibition “HobbyTime” features 70 companies and craftspeople from Novosibirsk, Moscow, Kaluga, Yekaterinburg, Tomsk, Omsk, and Uzbekistan who present products for different types of hobbies and hand-made items – “Mir Tvorchestva (Creativity World)”, “Matryonin Posad”, “Logos”, Jumping Clay, Craft premier, “BG Sib”, “Vesko”, “Art Hammer” and others.
Business program of the exhibition is filled with various workshops. Hobby supermarket “Leonardo” is organizing the following workshops: “Making Vases Using Volumetric Quilling Technique”, “Acryl Painting”, “Basic Techniques in Scrapbooking”. Handicraft Club “Logos” will provide workshops devoted to patchwork “Making a Wallet-Pencil Case”, “Working with Felt. Easter Decorations. Egg Cup ‘Kurochka’”, “Making a Greeting Card Using the Couching Technique” etc.
The list of the most memorable events of the exhibition includes the opening of the Medieval Historical Fight Tournament “Challenge 2015” to be held on March 14, at 12:00 P.M. and the historical ball “The Ball in a Big City”, which will take place in the hall at 1:00 P.M.
How to get to the Exhibition Complex
A free bus will take visitors from “Versailles” Trade Centre to the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex starting from 9:30 A.M.
Last bus departs from the Novosibirsk Expo Centre Exhibition Complex at 4:00 P.M.
The bus departs each 30 minutes.
