The First Driving Championship ‘Park Profi’ Was Held in Novosibirsk

The Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex hosted the driving Championship ‘Park Profi’ for the first time. On August 16 over 30 drivers of Novosibirsk showed their driving and parking skills at the outdoor area of the exhibition complex. The participants competing with each other had to face three main challenges – driving their cars into the garage by moving backwards, park their cars in parallel with the line, and perform the zigzag driving maneuver. All the maneuvers were assessed in terms of speed and quality.   

Mikhail Rusheshnikov became the winner of the ‘Park Profi’ Championship, second place was taken by Andrey Grigoryev, while third place was taken by Sergey Zudin. Ladies could also demonstrate their driving expertise as part of the championship. According to the jurors’ opinion, Natalya Safiulina became the best in performing all the tasks of the championship program. All the winners of ‘Park Profi’ were awarded diplomas from the event organizer, the Novosibirsk Branch of CJSC ‘Komsomolskaya Pravda Publishing House’, as well as honorary certificates from partners of the championship and the STSI Directorate for the Novosibirsk Region.

The spectators could also take part in a traffic rules quiz and a contest of children’s asphalt drawings. The organizers also conducted the best theme slogan contest.

To the surprise of all spectators and participants, some of the slogans were quite interesting: ‘If you’re driving every day, don’t let problems break your way – learn traffic rules!’, ‘Know the rules of parking right – you won’t worry every night!’, ‘Look left, look right, don’t let sleep block your sight, road safety is essential, drive your car with full potential!’.  

‘Park Profi’ is a signature event of Komsomolskaya Pravda Newspaper. In other regions of Russia, for example, in the City of Krasnoyarsk, it is held annually, and Novosibirsk only hosted the event for the first time. We promote road safety and respect.
