The Exhibitions InterFood Siberia and ‘Package of Siberia’ Opened at the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex

Two exhibitions – InterFood Siberia and ‘Package of Siberia’ - opened at the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex at the same time. Both these events have been conducted several times already, and within the years of their existence have gained in popularity among specialized organizations and enterprises in Russia and abroad.

This year the exhibitions InterFood Siberia 2014 and ‘Package of Siberia 2014’ are featuring over 150 companies from 33 cities of Russia, as well as fromArgentina, Bulgaria, Greece, Kazakhstan, China, Lithuania, Tajikistan, Turkey, France, and South Korea. Exponents have presented their equipment for confectionery industry, the processing of meat and poultry, flour-milling and macaroni products industry, dairy products, cheese and butter manufacturing, fish processing and the manufacturing of fish products. As well as modern packaging machines and automated units, band-strapping machines, film-producing units, equipment for the production of packages and labels, labeling and marking equipment, and many more.

The opening ceremony featured Nikolay Simonov temporarily acting as the Novosibirsk Region Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship Development.

Mr. Simonov addressed the participants of the exhibition in his welcoming speech and wished all of them successful work, the signing of contracts, and having a good time, as well as thanked them. 

The program of the exhibitions also includes workshops from leading brand chefs and cooks from the Siberian Guild of Chefs, as well as patissiers.

Both exhibitions will be operating until October 23.
