The 6th All-Russian Conference of Arrhythmologists Opened in Novosibirsk
On June 11 – 13, 2015 the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex is hosting the 6th All-Russian Conference of Arrhythmologists.
The event consists of two key components: the exhibition and the scientific program.
The scientific program has a summit-like structure – it includes theoretical events, clinical and anatomical workshops, and debates, as well as demonstration surgeries broadcast from European clinics.
The conference program started with The Atrial Fibrillation Summit. Despite atrial fibrillation being one of the most common arrhythmia types, the one that is studied by scientists all over the world, the problem of treating this disease still remains relevant.
“How to Protect a Patient from a Stroke”, “New Approaches to Treating Atrial Fibrillation”, “Arrhythmia Types Among Children and Adults with Congenital Heart Disorders”, “Modern Recommendations on Treating Patients with Heart Rhythm Disorders” – these and other lectures were heard on the first conference day.
The list of key events for the second day includes Ventricular Tachycardia/Fibrillation Summit, Atrial Fibrillation Debates, and a mini-course on anatomy and electrophysiology of the heart plus a practical seminar.
The closing day of the conference will be devoted to the Summit on the Tactics of Controlling Electrodes and Devices; besides the results of the conference will be summed up, and the most important moments of the conference will be pointed out.
We’d like to note that it is the first time the national conference of arrhythmologists is held in Novosibirsk with a total of over 1,300 participants from 13 countries of the world.
