Experts from different countries to discuss issues of Neurosurgery
As Vasiliy Yurchenko, the governor of the Novosibirsk region, pointed out in his welcoming speech, the International Neurosurgery forum is extremely important for the region, primarily from a practical point of view:
“Very soon, a new federal center of neurosurgery will open in Novosibirsk, its construction has been completed, its team is being formed, and in the near future this new center will have modern equipment and will provide high-tech medical care.”
Mr. Yurchenko wished all the participants of the International Siberian Neurosurgical Forum , to have productive work that will contribute to the development of domestic and foreign neurosurgery.
Next, the mayor of Novosibirsk, Vladimir Gorodetsky, said that the city is proud of the fact that it is the site of this major international forum:
“For four days - the time of the forum - Novosibirsk will be the world center of neurosurgery, all the leading industry experts are together here.”
The first half of the day was devoted to reports on the development of neurosurgery in Russia. After lunch, discussion began on "Neurosurgery in the world." This part of the plenary session will feature speakers from the USA, Czech Republic, Norway, Switzerland, Finland, and Sweden.
In parallel with the plenary session, work is carried out on sections called "Of Cerebral Aneurysms," "Childrens’ Neuro-Oncology", "Neuro-oncology", "Tumors of the Spine and Spinal Cord," as well as symposia on "Ischemic Stroke,Diagnosis and treatment" and "Interventional Neuroradiology."
