Season 2015 of the Drift Competitions Has Opened!

The First Stage of the Capital of Siberia Drift Cup 2015 took place at the specially prepared track located at the parking lot of the exhibition complex. 

Head of the Physical Training and Sports Directorate at the City Hall of Novosibirsk Sergey Aleksandrovich Akhapov noted at the opening ceremony of the competition that this event is a huge motorsports holiday for Novosibirsk and wished all the participants dynamic, beautiful races and an exciting sports struggle.   

The First Stage of the Capital of Siberia Drift Cup featured drifters from Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Novokuznetsk, Barnaul, and Berdsk.

Here are the winners who took medal places at the competition:

• first place – Arthur Volchansky (Novosibirsk, Toyota Altezza);
• second place – Alexey Borisov (Novosibirsk, Toyota Altezza);
• third place – Armen Arutyunian (Novosibirsk, Yoka Motorsport Nissan Silvia).

The next stage of the Capital of Siberia Drift Cup will be held on May 23-24 at the specially prepared outdoor track of the Novosibirsk Expo Centre of International Exhibition Complex.
