The International Snow Sculpture Competition has started next to "Novosibirsk Expocentre"

The theme of the competition is “Mascots of the Winter Olympic Games”. The Snow Sculpture World Championship is supported by the Russian Olympic Committee, which authorized the use of the Olympic symbols.

All Olympic mascots ever created, including the mascots for the Sochi 2014Games, will be distributed among the participants and recreated by the contestants with snow.

Choosing the Olympic Games as the theme of the championship was not accidental, they represent one of the main ideas of the World Snow Forum, the "Industry of winter sports and recreation", the concept of never ending development and improvement: "Faster! Higher! Stronger! ".

The sculptures are placed along the front of "Novosibirsk Expocentre", which will be the main event of the World Snow Forum. Everyone can attend and seethe artists at work. The winner will be determined on January 16.
