Representatives of the Daejon City Hall Arrived in Novosibirsk with an Official Visit
In response to an invitation from the City Hall of Novosibirsk, a delegation from the City of Daejon (South Korea) arrived in the Capital of Siberia with an official visit. The officials from the two sister cities have discussed opportunities for cooperation and agreed on expanding inter-relations in the sphere of economy, culture, sports, as well as other areas.
The list of Korean representatives who took part in the negotiations includedthe Ambassador, Deputy Mayor of the Department for Foreign Relations of Daejong (South Korea) Kim Byung-kwon, the Assistant to the Director of the Department for Foreign Relations of Daejong (South Korea) Kim Jin-kee, and the Coordinator of the Department for Foreign Relations of Daejong (South Korea) Kim Andrew. The Novosibirsk authorities were represented by Vladimir Gorodetsky, temporarily acting as the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, and the Mayor of Novosibirsk Anatoly Lokot.
After the official part of the visit had been over, the guests arrived at the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex and met with the administration of the Complex. The territory of the Novosibirsk Expo Centre currently includes the Exhibition Hall of Products and Technologies from the City of Daejon (South Korea). During the visit the representatives of Daejon had an opportunity to see all the necessary capabilities that allow conducting exhibition, congress, and business events at the territory of Siberia and the Far East.
At the end of the meeting Executive Director of the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex Alexey Vyatkin presented the guests of the Complex with a painting, a work by a modern artist.
