Priority Projects of Novosibirsk Agglomeration Development Were Discussed in Novosibirsk Expo Centre IEC

International Building and Interiors Exhibition SibBuild has always been distinguished by its busy program, and this year has not become an exception.

Many conferences and round tables have already been held on such topics as “Current Situation and Prospects of the Construction Materials Industry”, “Energy Saving Technologies and Equipment in the Production of Materials and Articles”, “Topical Questions of House Construction, Universities and Innovation-Driven Growth of Regions”, “Capital Repair of Apartment Houses – Peculiarities of Planning, Execution and Acceptance of Works. Liability of  Customers and Contractors” and other topics.  

One of the key events in the program was, undoubtedly, a round table held within the SibBuild exhibition on 4 February 2015 – “On Priority Projects of Novosibirsk Agglomeration Development”, where V.A. Nikonov, Ye.Ya. Yankilevich, O.M. Malakhov, D.B. Verkhovod, Ye.A. Bondarchuk and V.I. Khabarov were the speakers. 

Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, Vladimir F. Gorodetsky and Deputy Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Sergey N. Syomka made an introductory speech.

"I think that we have a chance to make our site, the Novosibirsk Region, an ongoing All-Russia site for practice and experience in agglomeration development of cities” said V. Gorodetsky.

At present, the priority projects for Novosibirsk agglomeration development are the Aerocity, Academpark, the complex transportation scheme and the park policy of the Novosibirsk Region.

As Sergey Syomka said, 2015 is devoted to the development of specific programs for agglomeration development. He reminded that the project for Novosibirsk agglomeration development was included in 16 pilot projects approved by the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation.

The round table was a kind of introductory word to the second All-Russian Conference on Urban Agglomeration Development planned for the end of April 2015.
