Opportunities for Education in Russia and Abroad Will Be Presented at ‘UchSib’ Exhibition
On March 13-15 the Novosibirsk Expocentre will be hosting the 22nd Education Exhibition ‘UchSib’.
According to the data provided by the exhibition organizer, ITE Siberia Company, the event will feature 184 companies from China, Hungary, Czech Republic, Kaliningrad, Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk Region, Moscow and the Moscow Region, Krasnoyarsk, the Kemerovo Region, Omsk, and Tomsk.
The exhibition will include the following sections:
- higher education institutions, occupational education institutions, general and additional education institutions;
- academic research institutes, centres;
- advanced training institutions;
- international education institutions, language schools, and foreign education agencies;
- education equipment and accessories;
- furniture and equipment for classrooms;
- education software;
- general-purpose and special education tools;
- education concepts, technologies, models, development programs.
Higher education in Novosibirsk is traditionally presented by the largest institutions of the city – the Novosibirsk State University (NGU), the Novosibirsk State Technical University (NGTU), Siberian Transport University (SGUPS), the Novosibirsk State Medical University (NGMU).
Opportunities for receiving education abroad will be presented to the exhibition visitors by various language schools: Interkontakts (Czech Republic), J and S (Omsk), American Councils (Novosibirsk), Information Centre DAAD (Novosibirsk), the Israel Cultural Centre, ‘ITEK’ (Novosibirsk), the Goethe German Cultural Centre (Novosibirsk), and Corvinus University of Budapest (Hungary).
LLC ‘Infoschool’ will present special education equipment and software,attendancecontrol systems for education institutions and card payment automation systems for cafeterias of education institutions. The systems are based on the transport card operating principle: a certain sum of money is transferred to the card. Part of this sum is debited from the card each time a student attends the cafeteria.
The list of companies that will present education process equipment also includes ‘AV-Integration’, ‘Veina’, ‘Dream Light’, ‘Iverta’, ‘Zvezdnoye Detstvo’, ‘Integra’, ‘Computers and Networks’, ‘Centre of School Equipment’ etc.
The exhibition will be accompanied by an extensive business program to be held at the conference halls.
March 13 The Novosibirsk Region Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation Policy will conduct the practical seminar ‘Professional and Personal Development of a Teacher in the Modern Competitive Environment’.
March 14 The Novosibirsk Institute of Further Education and Training for Teachers is organizing the methodical seminar ‘Quality Management in the Sphere of Education: Current State and Further Development’.
A discussion between the members of the municipal education system of Novosibirsk called ‘Performing Educational Functions through Network Interaction between General and Additional Education Institutions’ will be held on the same day. This event was organized by the Main Education Directorate of Novosibirsk.
