Novosibirsk region prepares to host the International Congress "EurAsEC AGRO-2012"

The Congress will bring together the scientific potential of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences and practitioners in the implementation of advanced technologies in the agricultural enterprises of “EurAsEC” countries.

The organizers of the "EurAsEC AGRO-2012" are the Government of the Novosibirsk Region, SB RAAS, IFWexpo Heidelberg (Germany), the Novosibirsk Expo Centre Exhibition Complex, ITE “Siberian Fair" and LLC "Siberia Expo". The congress will be held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Association of Siberian and Far Eastern cities (ASDG), the Interregional Association "Siberian Agreement", the Eurasian Development Bank, Agricultural Bank and OAO "RosAgroLeasing."

 According to the portal Tayga.info, the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Vasily Yurchenko will head the Organizing Committee. The Organizing Committee must develop a plan of actions for the planning and conducting of the congress before August 1st. The developed program "Agro-2012 EEC" consists of six sections - "Agriculture and Plant", "Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science", "Engineering support for agriculture", "Storage and processing of Agricultural Production", "Food security" and "WTO". The Congress will be held at the Expocentre during the specialized exhibition "AgroEkspoSibir", "AgroSib" as well as a regional exhibition "Days of Harvest 2012."
