Mashex Siberia International Exhibition Was Launched at the Novosibirsk Expo centre International Exhibition Complex

International Exhibition of Machine Engineering and Metalwork Mashex Siberia was opened at the Novosibirsk Expo centre International Exhibition Complex.

Claus Müller acting as the General Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Novosibirsk and Head of the Industry, Innovation, and Business Department at the City Hall of Novosibirsk Vladimir Afanasiev participated in the opening ceremony of the Exhibition.

‘Mashex Siberia Exhibition has already become a good tradition. I’m glad that the amount of participants keeps growing every year. This year’s Exhibition includes an extensive business program. The Exhibition will feature seminars, panel discussions, product presentations and the 1^st International Conference. I think that all this will let our participants find new business partners and constructively discuss relevant problems of machine engineering', said Vladimir Afanasiev in his welcoming speech. Mashex Siberia is one of the most significant events of the industry in Siberia and the Far East. This year the Exhibition features products from such major companies as ‘DMG Russland’, ‘Irlen Engineering’, ‘Abamet’, ‘Acor Direct’, ‘Equipment International’, ‘Weber Comechanics’, ‘Ajan Elektronik’. The German Federation of Machine Engineering and the Bavarian Committee for International Economic Activity are participating in ‘Mashex Siberia’ for the second time.

‘Mashex Siberia’ is one of the largest machine engineering and metalwork exhibition projects in the Asian part of Russia. And I’m glad that the amount of participants from Germany keeps increasing. This year the united stand of Bavaria was organized for the second time, and the number of Russian firms that officially represent German manufacturers has doubled. Germany is also taking part in the business program of the Exhibition - Leibniz Universität Hannover is among the organizers of the 1^st International Conference ‘Relevant Problems of Machine Engineering’. All these facts prove that Mashex Siberia is a great platform that allows German companies to enter the markets of Novosibirsk and its neighboring regions or to extend their presence on these markets’, noted Mr. Müller. The Exhibition includes the following sections: machine engineering, metalwork, welding, metallurgy, industrial automation, equipment, materials and technologies for the finishing of metal surfaces.     

Mashex Siberia Exhibition will be held until March 28, 2014.
