Main Events of Transport Industry in the Siberian Region Took Place at the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex
On May 27, 2015 the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex hosted the 4th International forum “Transport of Siberia”, the exhibition of transport industry, transport, storage logistics, and infrastructure – “TransSiberia” and the exhibition of spare parts, car chemicals, car accessories, equipment and car maintenance “AutoSib”.
The exhibition and the forum are featuring 153 companies from 5 countries of the world and 12 cities of the Russian Federation. Total area of the exposition equals over 9,700 square metres.
The Russian Federation Presidential Envoy in the Siberian Federal District Nikolay Y. Rogozhkin, who was present at the official opening of the forum, emphasized the significance of the forum for Siberia and the opportunities it opens up, including “the opportunities to discuss several relevant topics and problems, solving which will boost the development of transport sphere in Siberia”.
Anatoly K. Sobolev acting as the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region confirmed the importance of the events that took place at the Exhibition Complex:
Transport industry is the cornerstone in developing the economy of the Russian Federation. It is not by accident that the formation of transport networks and agglomeration was one of main topics at the recent discussion devoted to the development of urban agglomerations in the Russian Federation.
We’d like to remind you that the first ever “Car Fan Day of Siberia” is to take place on May 30. On this day visitors of the exhibition will be able to test-drive various cars, see the expositions of scale models “Automodelism”, decorate their cars with unusual sketches, or take part in a driving skills workshop held by professional drivers.
The Novosibirsk Automobile Federation will traditionally conduct a drift show, and the guests of the event will be given a rare opportunity of taking a ride together with the leading racers right at the time of competition.
Besides, “Komsomolskaya Pravda” Publishing House will conduct a motordrome obstacle-crossing championship for everyone – from newbies to experienced drivers. The quality of driving and the speed of completing the tasks will be assessed. We would like to note that you should undergo the process of preliminary registration at the organizer’s website to participate in the competition.
