Ice and Fire
The next stage of the competition “Miss Snow Universe” was held today at the International Exhibition Center "Novosibirsk Expocentre". The competition is organized by the modeling agency “Elite Stars” and is part of the "World Snow Forum". Girls from twenty different Russian cities compete during three days for the title of the most enchanting snowy beauty in the world.
One of the most traditional stages for any beauty contest -swimsuit modeling- turned into a real show due to the extreme weather conditions happening these days in Novosibirsk. However, neither the low temperature, nor the biting wind did scare the contenders for the honorary title. Each of the participants posed for the photographers next to ice sculptures for 15 seconds or more, and sometimes the organizers even had to cover the girls preventing them to continue the photo session in spite of their protests.
The winner of the title “Miss Snow Universe” will be determined on January 19.
