Horex Siberia Exhibition and the Beer Fair of Siberia Opened at the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex
The Exhibitions feature 82 companies from 13 cities of Russia, as well as Australia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Italy.
Participants of HorexSiberia Exhibition present food and trade industry equipment, business process automation systems, professional utensils and textiles, food products, and beverages.
Vitaly Golubenko, temporarily acting as the First Deputy Chairman of the Novosibirsk Region Government, noted that the Exhibition is held in Novosibirsk for the 11th time. ‘I’d say that all the topics raised at today’s exhibition events are united by one common theme - sincerity and hospitality of our region and our city. Today we speak a lot about the development of ideas and technologies, but all these activities are first of all based on friendly attitude towards each other. Implementation of any business projects starts with business meetings’, noted Vitaly Golubenko.
The Exhibition ‘Beer Market of Siberia’ held with the support from the Union of Russian Brewers features equipment for breweries, equipment for bottling, storing, and cooling beverages, materials and ingredients for beverage production.
Deputy Chairman of the Union of Russian Brewers Council, President of OJSC SunInBev Andrey Gubka noted that Siberia is the region where high-quality and tasty beer is manufactured, and where the culture of beer-drinking as well as the culture of bars and restaurants is well developed. ‘I hope that today’s Exhibition will help each of you not only taste great kinds of beer but also let you acquire new business partners, new business solutions, speak about the problems currently present in the industry, and find ways to solve them’.
The program of the Exhibition includes the Professional Contest of Beer Quality SiBEERia 2014 and the 3rd International Conference on the Problems of Beer-Brewing Industry.
Besides, the business program of the Exhibitions will include the 4th Spring Cooking Cup, which is a qualification competition for the Cooking and Service Championship of Russia. The competitions are held in four categories: among professionals, professionals of the Novosibirsk Region, among juniors, and fans of the Russian cuisine. The competitions will feature teams and individual participants of all occupational categories: chefs, confectioners, service specialists – over 200 people in total from the Novosibirsk and the Sverdlovsk Region, the Republic of Buryatia, and the City of Tomsk. The topic of the Spring Cooking Cup is ‘Russian Cookery Style’.
The Competition coordinator, world-class referee Tatyana Kostyuk told us that one of the Cup’s main awards would be training in Dalian (China) and certificates for participation in the ‘PIR2014’ Exhibition in Moscow.
