Beauty Exhibition at the Novosibirsk Expocentre
The exhibition features about 100 companies that present cut flowers, green plants, potted and decorative plants, seeds, sprouts, planting stock, equipment for floral salons and flower shops, landscape design materials and services etc.
List of participating countries includes Lithuania, Holland, France, Ecuador, Columbia. Besides, a national pavilion of the Republic of Kenya was presented at the exhibition for the first time. Visitors that come up here can see special kinds of roses grown in Kenya only. The exponents say that Kenyan roses are currently entering the Russian market and the exhibition conducted at the Novosibirsk Expocentre provides a good opportunity to present their country in Russia.
Representative of the Production Department at Kupaa Limited Company (Kenya) Neil Deacon highly appreciated the quality of organizing the event at the Novosibirsk Expocentre: ‘This is a very convenient centre where everyone can easily find what they want. We were delighted by the work of your maintenance staff: any requests from us were immediately fulfilled – when, for example, we asked them to change the backlight, we didn’t have to wait a long time, and it helped us a lot’.
Additionally, the city landscape design contest between the districts of Novosibirsk is held as part of the exhibition. This year’s subject of the contest is LoveStory. At an area 450 m2 wide designers from eight districts of Novosibirsk present their ideas on reflecting the subject of love and love stories in the city landscape. The jury members will choose the best idea that will be subsequently implemented on one of Novosibirsk streets.
During the exhibition opening the Mayor of Novosibirsk Vladimir Gorodetsky noted that this contest allows the dwellers of Novosibirsk to get a glimpse of new approaches and technologies used in the field of landscape gardening and design, that is why they impatiently wait for it each year. After the exhibition designers try to implement new ideas in the city districts: new green areas start appearing in Novosibirsk, they make city dwellers happy and create the atmosphere of coziness.
The exhibition plan also features a round of Professional Floristic Championship of Russia; workshops from professional florists; Summer Umbrella contest and many more.
The exhibition was organized by ITE Siberian Fair. The event is held with the support from the Government of the Novosibirsk Region, the Novosibirsk Mayor’s Administration, Interregional Association ‘Siberian Agreement’, Department of Transport and Road Maintenance Complex at the Novosibirsk Mayor’s Administration.
