Attaining Technological Leadership of the Russian Economy Will Be Discussed in Novosibirsk at the International Forum 'TECHNOPROM'
On June 5-6, 2014 the Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex will be hosting the 2nd International Forum of Technological Development ‘TECHNOPROM’.
Topic of the Forum is ‘The Epoch of Technological Transformations: Time of New Victories’.
Goal of the Forum is strengthening strategic alliances and creating new partnerships in the hi-tech sphere between scientists, investors, businesses, development institutes, experts, chiefs of state and municipal authorities. The main results and decisions reached at the Forum are to confirm that Russia has actively entered the time phase of breakthrough technologies.
The organization committee of the Forum will be presided over by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Government Dmitry Rogozin.
According to the event organizers, the International Forum of Technological Development ‘TECHNOPROM’ is positioned as a national business platform where interested parties take part in the formation of conceptual vision and the development of specific offers and solutions aimed at attaining technological leadership of the Russian economy.
Participants of the Forum will be involved in an extensive business program comprised of three discussion panels:
- Technological trends;
- Technological environment: infrastructure and institutes;
- Effective coalitions in hi-tech sphere.
The Forum will include roundtable discussions on various topics with the participation of Russian and foreign experts. We would like to especially emphasize the symposium devoted to problems and prospects of promoting modern strategies of industrial development. Apart from other subjects, global and regional aspects of this sphere will be considered.
The International Forum of Technological Development ‘TECHNOPROM’ will also feature discussing such spheres as bio- and IT technologies, alternative energy sources, new materials, ensuring technological and market innovations based on the Russian navigation system GLONASS, creating growth points and favorable conditions for the promotion of innovations in economy including the establishment and development of engineering structures, prototyping and outsourcing centres.
The 8th Siberian Venture Fair as well as several other satellite events of the Forum are integrated into the program of TECHNOPROM.
The Forum will also include an exhibition of cutting-edge equipment, technologies, and innovations – from ideas and prototypes to mass manufacturing of products that can be used as the base for the entrance of the Russian economy into the sixth technological mode. It is expected that the results of the Forum will boost the development of a new scientific and technological monitoring system as well as a system of technological growth prognosis with the help of benchmarking tools; offers concerning system-building models of forming the territories of advanced innovation-driven growth based on centres of breakthrough technologies and engineering centres will be preparedas well as offers related to the creation and development of parks and special (dual purpose) areas of transforming technologies for pilot regions of Russia; the project of creating the International Cooperation Centre of science, education and business will be prepared in order to ensure the entrance into the sixth technological mode.
