The Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex Will Be Hosting the 10th Anniversary All-Russian Festival of Martial Arts
On April 16-19 Novosibirsk will become the centre of sports martial arts for the Siberian, North-West, Central, Ural, and Far-East Federal Districts.
The Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex and Sports Training Centre “ZARYA” will be hosting the 10th Anniversary All-Russian Festival of Martial Arts. Over 2500 participants performing on 26 stages will demonstrate their skills in aikido, karate, wushu, jiu-jitsu, kobudo, Vovinam Viet Vo Dao, taekwondo, grappling, and cross-fit.
The exhibition complex is to host the most interesting part of the competition - the finals of interregional tournaments and open championships, as well as qualification contests, exhibition performances, and workshops.
The festival is organized by:

- The Russian Union of Martial Arts
- National Aikido Council of Russia
- Physical Training and Sports Department for the Novosibirsk Region
- Physical Training and Sports Directorate at the City Hall of Novosibirsk
- The Novosibirsk Expo Centre International Exhibition Complex
- ITE Siberia
- Federal Drug Control Service Directorate for the Novosibirsk Region
The list of primary goals set by the festival organizers includes patriotic upbringing of younger generations, promoting orient martial arts among the youth, improving the skills of young athletes, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
It must be noted that the festival will feature famous martial arts specialists as honorary guests:
- President of the International Aikido Federation – C. Ritor, 5th dan in Aikido Aikikai (France)
- Vice President of the Russian Jiu-Jitsu Federation – G. Kukoverov, 7th dan
- Karate World Champion – Stanislav Garunu
The geography of the festival participants covers all federal districts of Russia!
Various clubs and federations from the following cities and towns are to take part in the festival: Moscow, Blagoveschensk, Biysk, Saint Petersburg, Irkutsk, Gorno-Altaysk, Novosibirsk, Belogorsk, Krasnoyarsk, Barnaul, Khabarovsk, Chita, Novokuznetsk, Noyabrsk, Tolyatti, Yekaterinburg, Perm, Omsk, Tomsk, Mezhdurechensk, and Penza.
