INTEREXPO GEO-Siberia-2013

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the IX International exhibition and scientific congress “Interexpo GEO-Siberia-2013” - “Advanced Geospatial and Surveying Technologies for Environmental Management and Sustainable Territorial Development” organized by the Siberian State Academy of Geodesy and LLC “Interexpo GeoSiberia” will be held on April 24 - 26, 2013. Along with this event the Siberian State Academy of Geodesy will celebrate its 80th Anniversary.

“Interexpo Geo-Siberia” is supported by the well-known international societies and organizations - FIG, DVW, ISPRS, ICA, ISDE, DGfK, EAGE, and GIS Association(Russia)who continue rendering their great support and contribution to “Interexpo GEO-Siberia”project, and within Russia by the Government of Novosibirsk Region, the Venture Investments Fund to Scientific and Technical Small Enterprises, Municipal Administration of Novosibirsk, Presidium of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS), Association of Siberian and Far Eastern Cities, Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography, GIS Association and others.

“Interexpo GEO-Siberia” has demonstrated the growing interest to this event and become a good platform for exchanging experiences on actual and current problems in geodesy, catography, geoinformation, cadastre, land management, photogrammetry, environmental monitoring, GNSS/GLONASS, Earth remote sensing, laser scanning and lidar technologies, emergency, disaster and crises management and their early warning as well as developing education and training programs. Besides, the main task of this event is to get acquainted with advanced technologies and equipment, procedures and software for efficient environmental and mineral resources management, and advanced innovative and investment projects. Among the forthcoming key issues is the development of raw material processing throughout the Siberian region and industrial complex modernization. The problems of environmental management in regions where the non-renewal exploitation is carried out should be solved only using advanced and innovative technologies to forecast unfavorable seismic, disaster and emergency events and to take necessary preventive measures.
